It was a cold morning on this Friday in Michigan. (Yes, I know, it’s always cold in in Michigan in the winter, but THIS was really a cold morning.) I met Allison + Dean in Big Rapids – at the house where Dean grew up. We bundled up and wandered through the snow-covered fields, stood at the base of the old elm tree, toured the barn that Dean built with his family and sat between the pines that his grandfather planted. A couple months ago, Dean proposed to Allison in those same rows of pine trees. So, when they suggested having their engagement session on that same family land – I couldn’t have agreed more.
I’m thankful for these two and their willingness to invite me into their story… and for the beautiful history in that family land. These two have a love that is so deep, so honest and so fun. This morning was the perfect adventure and I’m honored to introduce them to you today.
