On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in June, Jessica + Andy committed their lives to each other in front of family and friends. It was a day the two of them had been anticipating for a long time and it was so fun to see everything come together perfectly! These two had some wonderful ideas to not only make the celebration look great, but they were also very intentional with the traditions and sacredness of the commitment of marriage which is always so cool to witness. All the festivities of the day were held in lovely downtown Holland – the ceremony was at Dimnent Chapel on the campus of Hope College and the reception followed a few blocks away at the Midtown Center (which you might recognize from one of my May weddings!).
Thank-you so much for having me there for your special day and trusting me with your memories, you two! Enjoy the preview!!
(Also, I have to give a special shout-out to my friend, Alyssa, who was able to shoot with me while my husband was out of town. I’m so thankful she was able to be there with me!! A few of the images below are from her! Yay!)
Before the reception, Andy + Jessica shared a special moment. Andy’s mother passed away shortly after these two were engaged and as a tribute to her, they left Jessica’s bouquet at her grave after the ceremony. Jessica’s grandparents celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on the same day Andy + Jessica tied the knot. Love seeing marriages that stand the test of time! It was definitely something to cheer about :)
