A couple weeks ago, on a snowy afternoon, I made my way over to the home of Bryan + Katie. I was so excited to see the two of them and meet their daughter – Emerson, born just a week earlier.
When Katie contacted me about photographing her daughter, I was thrilled! I’ve known Katie and her family since I was in elementary school. We’ve been able to keep in touch a bit through the years – occasionally bumping into each other now that we both live on the west side of the state. What a honor it was to be invited into their home and capture some special moments of their new family.
Miss Emerson is a beautiful little girl. I adored watching both Bryan + Katie interact with Emerson: ooh and ahh over her, calm her down, whisper to her and make her laugh. Yesterday, I shared a few images from our session, but this evening, I wanted to share a few more…
