jon + andrea // grand rapids, mi engagement

When Michael Buble came to Michigan last winter, Jon knew he and Andrea had to be there. You see, Jon always wanted to propose after a Michael Buble concert. Buble had already performed in March of 2010, so it seemed that it would be unlikely for the tour to return at a time Jon was ready to propose. But… Buble returned for a Grand Rapids concert in December 2010 and Jon + Andrea drove across the state for the show. Afterwards, under the Christmas tree lights at Rosa Parks Circle, Jon got down on one knee and asked Andrea to be his wife. (So romantic – I love it!!)

Fast forward to last week – it only seemed right that their engagement session would take place in the city where they got engaged. So, Jon + Andrea came across the state for their session. We wandered around the city, talking about life and wedding plans. It was a great morning. These two will be wed in late November (I personally think that’s a great time to get married ;)) and we can’t wait to be a part of it!
This is the exact spot that Jon proposed… although, we had to make due without the Christmas tree this time :)
