At the end of July, on a sunny, blue-skied Saturday, Josh + Victoria wed in Northville, Michigan. It was an intimate, intentional celebration and the months of preparation had paid off! It was such a wonderful day through + through!
The ceremony took place outdoors in the garden at First United Methodist. Victoria’s parents help tend to the garden… which made it an extra special location for the wedding. The reception followed at Northville Hills Golf Club. Dinner, dancing, and a beautiful sunset topped of the evening.
One of my favorite moments of the day was listening to the toasts. Each sister + each dad gave a toast to the bride + groom… sharing stories of how the two of them met, how each of them blended with the families, and of course, some funny quips here + there. But there was one similar theme in each of the toasts… their families agreed that Josh + Victoria were made for each other. They both illuminate the best in one another and compliment one another in the perfect way. Josh’s sister even thanked Victoria for bringing out a side of her brother that she had never seen before. Their relationship has allowed for deeper relationships around them… that’s a pretty great partnership, wouldn’t you say?
